Functional Architect - TMS

Role Overview: As a Functional Architect, you will be responsible for visualizing solutions and translating customer or PMG business requirements into functional design solutions. You will work with multiple scrum teams to achieve delivery targets in terms of feature completeness and quality. Your role will involve making tactical decisions about product direction and contributing to strategic decisions. Additionally, you will collaborate with members from other departments like customer support and sales, and define and take accountability for the definition of done for a feature. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a domain expert and advocate for best business practices for the product development team - Provide functional thought leadership to QA engineers, testers, and junior BAs - Understand the application domain, customer and user needs, existing product suite, and competitive landscape to contribute to the product vision - Ensure functional correctness and business application of enhancements to the product during development planning and execution phases - Decompose high-level requirements from PMG into individual feature requirements and use cases for PD - Improve end user experience by reviewing test plans and product documentation - Assist in resolving critical customer issues and participate in defect triage meetings - Ensure smooth implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements - Develop functional specifications, analyze user needs, and participate in business process analysis or design/construction phase - Uphold security and integrity of corporate assets and compliance with internal and external company policies - Coordinate project tasks on engagements Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or related specialization - Minimum 8-10 years of industrial or domain experience - Mandatory experience in the transportation domain - Deep functional knowledge of a product and understanding of the solution suite domain - Experience in building SaaS-based applications/next-gen solutions in the transportation domain - Exposure to customer interaction and communication on product capabilities - Ability to handle activities with a diverse scope and mentor junior team members - Focus on quality development, defining stories, definition of done, and story/feature sign-off (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
