Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Develop scalable and maintainable server-side applications using NestJS and Node.js.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with front-end and third-party services.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB for efficient data handling.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests for services and controllers using Jest or similar tools to ensure application reliability.
  • Write clean, well-structured code with proper documentation. Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in APIs and back-end logic.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in back-end development with Node.js, preferably using NestJS.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with unit testing using Jest or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ORMs like TypeORM or Prisma.
  • Good understanding of Git and version control workflows.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
