Full Stack Engineer/Developer

As the Systems Engineer/REACT Developer at Zoetis India Capability Center (ZICC) in Hyderabad, you will work under the guidance of the ZTD IT Engineering and Technology Lead, ZTD R&D. Your role will involve collaborating with an in-house team to design, develop, document, and deploy solutions for a suite of data and analytic solutions within a customer-facing web application. It will be essential for you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications in your portfolio, including data accessibility, administration, upgrades, integration points, etc. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining the application and coordinating maintenance activities with supporting groups like infrastructure and networking. Your primary responsibilities will include writing front-end features based on business specifications using various JS libraries and tools, writing unit and end-to-end tests for existing code, fixing bugs, and updating the system when necessary. You will also be integrating first and third-party APIs, documenting various parts of the system, and training and mentoring junior developers when needed. Additionally, you will ensure the feasibility of UI/UX designs, develop code with the end user in mind, and implement system design and application software configuration for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and SaaS systems to support Zoetis R&D business initiatives. You will play a key role in providing technical expertise to solution delivery teams throughout all phases of the application life cycle, focusing on design and development activities. Moreover, you will assist project managers in defining technical tasks, system dependencies, and estimating resources and task duration. Your ability to translate business requirements into innovative solutions and collaborate with various stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role. In terms of qualifications, you should have at least 5 years of experience in information technology or a related field, along with an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, NodeJS, RESTful Design, Git, and unit testing is required. Experience with technical writing, software testing, and working closely with UI/UX designers is also essential.
