Title Engineer, Web Application

Summary The Engineer, Web Application will be responsible for developing applications that support critical business processes. The person will work independently, partner with IS and business liaisons to understand requirements to deliver enhanced end-user experience for web applications.

Responsibilities

Systems Design and Development

• Analyze business requirements and work with stakeholders to

develop system design specifications.

• Design, code, and implement software systems and applications

tailored to the organizations needs.

• Modify existing systems to improve performance and adapt to new

requirements. 20%

Integration and Automation

• Integrate various software applications and data sources to ensure

seamless data flow between different systems.

• Create automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in

operations.

• Work with supply chain systems to optimize warehouse

management. 30%

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems are

functioning properly.

• Monitor system logs and user feedback to detect errors or areas for

improvement.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 20%

Research and Development

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends that could

benefit the organization.

• Evaluate new tools and software to ensure the organization

remains competitive.

• Collaborate with industry partners for potential technological

innovations. 10%

Technical Support and Training

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Support on-call rotation. 20%

Qualifications

Years of Experience 3+ years

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline is required

Required Skills • Relevant technical experience building modern web applications. • Strong experience in Angular, React, React Native, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring boot and Node JS, Next JS • Solid understanding of new and existing development platforms and environments. • Familiarity with database management systems like SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle (PL/SQL). • Solid understanding of web technologies and services (e.g., REST, SOAP). • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
