Full Stack Engineer (React + Java)

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Quash, you will be at the forefront of web development, AI integration, and platform scalability. Your role involves working on high-quality, responsive UIs using React.js and Next.js, as well as developing scalable backend services using Spring Boot (Java) and Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship user-first features and optimize frontend and backend performance for a smooth and secure experience. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain responsive UIs using React.js and Next.js - Develop modular frontend architecture with TypeScript, React Hooks, and state management tools - Create scalable backend services using Spring Boot (Java) and Python - Design and integrate RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and microservices - Utilize MongoDB for efficient schema design, data modeling, and query optimization - Optimize frontend and backend performance for a seamless user experience - Collaborate with Product, Design, and AI teams to deliver impactful features Qualifications Required: Frontend: - Strong experience with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS - Solid understanding of modern JavaScript and component-based architecture - Proficiency in state management, React Hooks, and building responsive UIs - Knowledge of API integration, auth flows, and frontend performance tuning - (Bonus) Experience with Electron.js for desktop applications Backend: - Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) for backend development - Experience in Python with FastAPI, Flask, or Django - Deep understanding of RESTful API design and microservice architecture - Hands-on experience with MongoDB and secure API practices - (Bonus) Familiarity with DevOps, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines AI & Integrations: - Practical experience with LLM APIs and AI orchestration frameworks - Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases - Interest in building AI-first product features with intelligent automation - Curiosity to experiment with emerging AI SDKs and frameworks If you join Quash, you will work on real products used globally, collaborate with founders on experimental projects, and have the opportunity to shape the architecture and build cutting-edge AI tooling in a creative and fast-paced environment.
