Full Stack Developer

Role Overview: As a Fullstack Engineer on the HomewiseDocs platform, you will be involved in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-quality web applications to provide users with exceptional experiences. Working closely with a diverse team, you will contribute to implementing features from inception to deployment, emphasizing clean architecture, performance, and maintainability. Your role will encompass both frontend and backend development, with a focus on enhancing development practices and promoting technical excellence within the team. Responsibilities: - Act as a subject matter expert within specific areas of the problem domain - Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging new ideas and supporting engineers through mentorship - Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into robust and maintainable technical solutions - Act as a productive hands-on contributor by developing new features and improving existing functionality on the HomeWiseDocs platform - Investigate and resolve technical issues to ensure reliability and performance in production environments - Assist in developing project plans and participating in resource planning in coordination with technical leads and stakeholders - Ensure seamless integration of back office services and customer-facing features by collaborating with cross-functional teams Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience in developing customer-facing software, including responsibilities from project planning to successful delivery of key features - Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES2025) - Extensive expertise in Node.js, Express, and GraphQL - Skills in React, Apollo, responsive UI development, and adherence to accessibility standards - Some familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS - Working knowledge of Docker for containerization and development workflows - Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL - Experience in platform migrations, such as transitioning from legacy monolithic applications to modern, modular architectures using React and Node.js - Strong grasp of web application security best practices, encompassing authentication, authorization, data protection, and mitigation of common vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) - Hands-on experience with consuming REST web services and APIs - Familiarity with modern tools like NPM and Vite - Proficiency in testing tools like Jest and Cypress,
