Full Stack Developer

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with the Program Manager, Product Owner, Lead UI Developer, UX Designer, project team, and internal stakeholders to develop data and AI applications.
• Take ownership of the development process when required.
• Collaborate effectively with partner teams to drive project success.
• Provide technical inputs to help the team make informed decisions when needed.
• Contribute inputs on the estimation of development efforts.
• Execute development activities as a senior Full-Stack Developer for IDA applications, portals, and integrations.
• Collaborate with design, project, and other team members, discussing problem-solving approaches, participating in code reviews, and engaging in pair programming.
• Contribute to daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies to ensure visibility of team progress.
• Use and extend existing back-end web application and infrastructure codebases, adhering to code standards and structure while considering the advantages and consequences of refactoring and upgrading.
• Ensure the solution is designed to perform across multiple platforms.
• Work with Lead UI Developer to support on technical design, target state software architectures, data mappings, and integration mechanisms.
• Analyze and understand requirements, take ownership of assigned development tasks, and ensure quality deliverables with optimized code and good documentation.
• Work as part of an Agile squad and collaborate with vendors to ensure delivery within tight timelines while meeting team expectations.
• Engage in the entire lifecycle of the development project.
• Support the Lead Developer in engaging with GT governance forums, ensuring alignment with AXA architecture standards as the project moves through relevant stage gates.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet delivery timelines with a high degree of client satisfaction is critical.
• You will report to the Digital UX Division Lead.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Relevant years of experience in full-stack development using Java, JavaScript, CSS, React.js, and Junit.
• Experience understanding the integration between a CRM and JAVA, contributing to performance improvements and integration developments.
• Experience reviewing code to ensure clean code practices.
• Experience taking ownership of projects from end to end.
• Experience providing inputs on technical decisions for the project.
• Extensive experience working and collaborating with different teams.
• Ability to help the team stay updated with the latest technologies.
• Experience working on Spring Boot microservice architecture.
• Experience in migrating project technologies to updated versions.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and providing fixes.
