Full Stack CMS Developer

As a Full-Stack CMS Developer at NMG Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing custom-coded, SEO-friendly solutions in WordPress and Shopify platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining custom, responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify. - Creating custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). - Customizing and extending Shopify themes using Liquid, and integrating third-party and custom Shopify Apps. - Implementing technical SEO best practices such as Core Web Vitals, structured data, semantic HTML, and performance optimizations. - Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code for both platforms. - Troubleshooting issues and performing bug fixes across WordPress and Shopify environments. - Optimizing site speed and managing server-level improvements as needed. - Maintaining version control using Git/Bitbucket and collaborating via similar tools. - Managing assigned projects independently from development through deployment. - Exposure to multi-site, multilingual, and multi-currency setups in WordPress is a bonus skill. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong hands-on experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom post types in WordPress. - Proficiency in Shopify Liquid and theme architecture. - Experience with Shopify API (REST or GraphQL) and WordPress REST API. - Strong understanding of SEO-friendly web development, structured data, and schema implementation. - Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. - Experience building Shopify apps using Node.js or PHP is a bonus skill. - Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and theme/plugin structure. - Familiarity with AMP and performance optimization techniques. - Knowledge of WordPress and Shopify security best practices. - Basic server management (Apache, cPanel). - Version control using Git, Bitbucket. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - BCA, MCA, B Tech, or an equivalent technical degree. Additionally, it is beneficial if you have experience in writing technical documentation, familiarity with MySQL, exposure to AWS, CDNs, and deployment workflows, as well as experience using project management tools like Jira, Zoho, or Trello.,
