FDO is looking for an experienced Data Governance resource who is passionate about data and solving complex data Governance problems and will help extend our strategic firm wide suite of applications. `The candidate will be involved in working with technology and business teams to understand their data governance needs and help them get onboarded to Firmwide Data Catalog. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with developer acumen towards solving engineering problems. Key responsibilities of this role are Development : Slicing UX Design, develop, & test user interfaces and features. Coding : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Reuse preferred over re-develop. Testing & Debugging : Conduct thorough testing of the developed and cross functionality and active in identifying and resolving bugs if any. Performance : Ensure high-performance web applications. Tools and Technologies - Angular, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, version control-GIT, Jasmine/Karma, Cypress, Figma Design slicing. Angular Proficiency : Solid understanding of Angular framework, including concepts like components, modules, directives, and routing. TypeScript : Strong knowledge of TypeScript. JavaScript : Proficient in JavaScript fundamentals and ES6 functions. HTML & CSS : Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS/SCSS for creating user interfaces and component-based UI like angular material. Testing Frameworks : Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and ability to write E2E for the modules developed. Version Control (Git): Experience with Git or other version control systems. Collaboration : Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers. upport user experience, accessibility, and usability requirements in the design of digital solutions. This role offers the opportunity to Participate in transforming the firm towards a Data Driven culture. Work on new technologies in areas such as knowledge graph, cloud governance etc. and access experts in the wide range of technologies at Brokerage. Develop domain expertise in the Financial Services Industry via stakeholder interactions, industry forums and events. Partner with PO, Program BAs and stakeholders to define product vision, capabilities and features Skills Required: Must Have More than 5 years of Financial Services industry experience with a good understanding of Capital Markets/ Banking/ Finance domain. A good understanding of Data Governance & Management. Excellent Communication skills. Ability to create detailed user stories, working with users and developers to refine and groom stories. Experience of working as part of a global team with senior Stakeholder Management. Support the creation of data models to illustrate how data is represented within a business system An understanding of regulatory standards like Client, GDPR etc. Skills Desired: Good to have A know how of Ontologies, Graph Databases. Certifications relevant to Governance, Modelling, Architecture Understanding of Data Governance - Concepts, Policies and Principles. Experience in any Data Governance Tool like Collibra etc. Know how on Agile software development practices, TDD, Continuous Integration.
