Frontend React Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for React.js developers who will be responsible for the entire web development process and deliver highly scalable, customer-centric, and performant web applications. This position will involve developing a web application with numerous third-party integrations and services as well as the refactoring and reduction of technical debt. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to build scalable, responsive, and modular software that can meet clients needs for high reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and modular web application frontend capabilities in React.
• Integrate various third-party services and REST APIs into the web application, ensuring high reliability and security.
• Leverage Google Cloud services like the Healthcare API to handle vast amounts of protected health information and ensure that deployed code is running reliably. Design & build scalable APIs by writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness with software engineering best practices.
• Create and update user interface screens to be mobile-responsive and implement design systems for common visual styles for accessible patient and provider-facing software.
• Use Capacitor to create mobile apps out of projects.
• Implement audit logging and observability to monitor application health in production environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to code styling guides and best practices.
• Refactor and reduce technical debt in existing codebase to improve performance and maintainability.
• Create components, and implement pages and flows designed using UI/UX designers
• Develop highly efficient user interface components
• Contribute or suggest new initiatives to help your team make innovative choices
• Design, develop, review & test apps in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Analyze, control, and improve the quality of the code

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in frontend skills ReactJS, HTML, CSS, js, nodejs
• 3-5 years of experience working with and implementing frontend software products using React.
• Experience adhering to code styling guides and documentation standards and implementing software according to software mockups.
• Deep understanding of Typescript/Javascript and CSS.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD for managing a codebase and product lifecycle.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience working on React library with latest concepts like hooks
• Experience with Redux architecture
• Experience working with Java script, CSS/SCSS
• Experience writing unit tests with jest, enzyme/react-native testing library
• Additional skills : Kubernetes, Postman, Swagger, Google Cloud Platform

Other Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with healthcare data and standards such as FHIR, CCD, and HL7.
• Understanding of business models for and experience developing healthcare and financial services platforms/companies.
• Prior experience implementing tools/frameworks for monitoring and observability in software such as OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with large codebases and reverse engineering functionalities.
• Understanding of and experience implementing best practices to reduce cybersecurity threats.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and designing mobile-responsive applications.

Experience in cross-browser compatibility and the responsive design of applications
