Job Description

As a seasoned Frontend Lead with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing engineering team. Your role will involve hands-on software development, deep technical expertise, and successful leadership of large-scale engineering teams and projects. It is essential to demonstrate strategic leadership, manage complex technical challenges, and drive innovation while maintaining operational excellence. Collaboration with key stakeholders from various departments such as business, product management, and operations is crucial to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will play a critical role in shaping the technology roadmap and engineering culture within the company. Your key responsibilities will include leading and inspiring a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will manage the hiring, training, and career development of engineering staff. Strategic planning is another essential aspect of your role where you will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement engineering strategies supporting business objectives. Defining technology roadmaps and ensuring alignment with organizational goals will be part of your responsibilities. Guiding the team in designing and implementing scalable, robust software systems is crucial. You will be driving the adoption of best practices in architecture, coding standards, and software testing to ensure high-quality product delivery. Additionally, overseeing the successful delivery of engineering projects, managing deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints, and resolving bottlenecks using agile methodologies is also expected. Collaboration with Product Management, Design, Business, and Operations teams to define project requirements and deliverables is a key aspect of your role. Ensuring the smooth integration of engineering efforts across the organization is vital. Anticipating and mitigating technical risks and roadblocks is part of risk management, and proactively identifying areas of technical debt and driving initiatives to reduce it is essential. Acting as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, resource allocation, and performance metrics, and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are critical aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, high-impact software projects, is required. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalable system design, expertise in JS/React, and React Native, working with REST APIs, developing frontend apps, experience with AWS, microservices, and distributed systems, as well as delivering full-stack B2B/SaaS applications are essential qualifications. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders at all levels are also required.,
