Frontend Engineer (All Levels)

As a Frontend Engineer at Yupp, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and efficient frontend code using React/Next.js. Your passion for creating user-friendly interfaces and design skills will be put to the test as you collaborate with UX designers to implement visually appealing designs. You will work closely with backend engineers to ensure applications are optimized for speed and scalability. Your problem-solving skills will be key in troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient frontend code using React/Next.js - Collaborate with UX designers to design & implement visually appealing and user-centric designs - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability - Ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs and provide feedback on design improvements - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends - Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner - Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and other services **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role with 3+ yrs of experience - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React - Familiarity with responsive design principles and Tailwind CSS - Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling - Familiarity with Git for version control - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and teamwork skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with NextJS - Experience with Playwright for automated testing - Experience with running experiments and tracking analytics with Amplitude - Experience with Sentry for monitoring and detecting errors - Experience with web performance optimization techniques - Understanding of accessibility best practices,
