Job Description

Job Opening: Receptionist - Location: Starling International School, Shyamnagar, North 24 Parganas Key Responsibilities - Greet and assist parents, students, and visitors professionally and courteously. Handle front desk operations, phone calls, and enquiries. Maintain records, files, and documentation as required. Assist in admission-related queries and provide accurate information to parents. Coordinate with teachers, staff, and management for smooth communication. Manage email correspondence and school notices. Required Skills & Qualifications - Language Proficiency: Must be able to communicate fluently in English, Hindi, and Bengali (spoken & written). Computer Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Email, Internet browsing, and basic office tools. CBSE Portal Handling: Adequate knowledge of CBSE platforms such as OASIS, SARAS, LOC, SAFAL, SQAAF, etc. Other Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Convent-educated or English medium candidates will be given priority. Presentable, polite, and professional demeanour. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a school environment will be preferred. Educational Qualification - Graduate or Master's degree in any discipline (minimum). A diploma in Office Management/Secretarial Practice/Computer Applications will be an added advantage. Benefits - Opportunity to work in a premium CBSE-affiliated institution.
