Job Summary:
We are looking for a courteous and efficient Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment. The receptionist will manage patient appointments, answer queries, direct visitors, and support administrative tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
· Register patients for OPD and diagnostic services using the hospital management system (HMS).
· Manage patient appointments, rescheduling, and cancellations.
· Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
· Guide patients regarding departments, doctors’ availability, and hospital procedures.
· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
· Collect consultation or registration fees and issue receipts.
· Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk area.
· Handle emergency cases with calmness and ensure quick communication to relevant departments.
· Maintain and update patient records and appointment logs accurately.
Skills and Competencies:
· Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and local language.
· Pleasant personality, well-groomed appearance, and professional attitude.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to handle stress, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 12th pass; Graduation in any stream preferred.
· Prior experience in hospital/clinic reception or customer service is an advantage.
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with hospital software (HMS).
Work Schedule:
· Full-time
Weekend and holiday shifts may be required as per hospital schedule

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
