Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction:Welcoming patients, answering phone calls, providing information about hospital services, and addressing general inquiries.
  • Appointment Management:Scheduling appointments, managing patient registration, and coordinating with doctors and other departments.
  • Billing and Payments:Assisting with billing processes, processing payments (including online transactions), and providing information about insurance and digital billing options.
  • Record Keeping:Maintaining patient records, managing files, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Communication:Liaising between patients, doctors, and other staff, and ensuring clear and effective communication across all channels.
  • Administrative Tasks:Handling mail, maintaining office supplies, and performing other administrative duties to support the smooth functioning of the front office.
  • Maintaining a welcoming environment:Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and provides a positive first impression.
  • Complaint Resolution:Addressing patient concerns and complaints, escalating issues when necessary, and striving for quick and effective solutions.
  • Compliance:Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Teamwork:Collaborating with other hospital staff, including nursing and medical teams, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration or business.
  • May require previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a customer service or healthcare setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
