Job Title: Front Office Executive / Senior Front Office Executive Location: Thoraipakkam, Chennai Industry: Hospitality Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Rotational (as per hospitality operations) Role: Front Office Executive Experience: 2 to 4 years Industry Requirement: Must have prior experience in the hospitality industry Key Responsibilities: Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about services and amenities Coordinate with housekeeping, room service, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences Maintain up-to-date records of guest information, billing, and reservations Manage bookings and cancellations using front office software or PMS systems Handle cash and billing transactions, issuing receipts and maintaining audit trails Address and resolve guest complaints or escalate to the appropriate authority Requirements: Excellent communication skills in English and regional language (Tamil preferred) Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Basic computer knowledge and experience with front office/reservation systems Professional appearance and customer-centric approach Role: Senior Front Office Executive Experience: 4 to 6 years Industry Requirement: Must have substantial front desk experience in the hospitality industry Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily front office operations ensuring high service standards Supervise and mentor junior front office executives Handle escalated guest complaints with diplomacy and efficiency Coordinate closely with departments for VIP guest arrangements and special requests Monitor room inventory and ensure accurate reporting and documentation Train new staff on front office procedures and software systems Ensure compliance with hospitality protocols, grooming standards, and guest satisfaction KPIs Requirements: Proven leadership and team-handling abilities Experience in managing high guest volumes and peak hours Strong knowledge of PMS software (e.g., Opera, IDS, eZee) Excellent conflict resolution and multitasking skills Flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary and performance incentives Opportunity for growth within the organization Exposure to premium guest experiences and brand standards Supportive and collaborative team environment
