Front Engineer (React Native)

As a Frontend Engineer (React Native) with over 5 years of experience, you will be a key player in the modernization project of International Health's portal and self-service application. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the frontend software development efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality web and mobile solutions that align with the business objectives. Your role will involve providing technical leadership by guiding the frontend discipline within the application development and implementing software engineering strategies that are in line with the overall business and product goals. You will own the frontend application development capability for the mobile application solution, contributing to the definition of application development policies and standards. Mentoring will be a crucial aspect of your role, as you will lead and manage junior software development team members, fostering a culture of innovation, automation, collaboration, and excellence. You will actively participate in the career development and performance evaluation of junior team members. In terms of project delivery, you will be responsible for executing software projects within the specified timeline, budget, and quality standards. You will develop solutions using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology and ensure that project plans and application designs align with standards and IT strategy. Your expertise in software development methodologies, design patterns, automation, and best practices will be essential for this role. Strong experience with React Native, TypeScript, mobile testing, and integrating APIs with token-based security is required. You should also be familiar with building and deploying application code, configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Bamboo CI. Leadership skills are a must-have, as you will be guiding and inspiring junior technical team members. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
