Job Description

The Front Desk Executive will be the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors, and external stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, strong organizational ability, and a parent-friendly approach while maintaining school protocols and confidentiality.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

Front Office & Visitor Management

  • Greet parents, students, visitors, and guests courteously and professionally
  • Manage visitor entry, issue visitor passes, and ensure adherence to school security protocols
  • Coordinate with concerned departments for visitor appointments

Parent & Student Interaction

  • Handle parent queries related to admissions, academics, transport, and general school information
  • Guide parents and visitors to appropriate departments or staff members
  • Maintain a calm, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach at all times

Admissions Support

  • Act as the first contact point for admission inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails)
  • Share basic information about the school curriculum, facilities, and admission process
  • Schedule school tours, admission meetings, and follow-ups with the admissions team

Communication Management

  • Attend and route incoming calls professionally
  • Handle emails and messages related to general inquiries
  • Coordinate internal communication between departments when required

Administrative Support

  • Maintain front desk records, inquiry logs, and visitor registers
  • Assist in documentation, circular distribution, and notices
  • Support school events, PTMs, and meetings from the front office

Coordination & Discipline

  • Monitor student movement near reception (early arrivals, late pickups)
  • Inform concerned authorities regarding emergencies or unusual situations
  • Ensure smooth coordination between security, transport, and administration teams

Professional Conduct

  • Maintain confidentiality of school and student-related information
  • Represent the school’s values, culture, and professionalism at all times
  • Ensure reception area is neat, organized, and welcoming

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory)
  • Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, school ERP – preferred)
  • Prior experience in a school front office or customer-facing role is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
