Job Title: Receptionist

Department: Administration / Front Office

Reports To: Office Manager / Admin Head / HR Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our front desk. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic office environment. This role is perfect for someone looking to start or grow their career in administration or office support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Maintain the reception area and ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to assist visitors and employees.
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Assist the HR/Admin team with clerical and support tasks.
  • Handle basic inquiries and provide accurate information to clients or employees.
  • Ensure compliance with visitor sign-in/out procedures and security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
  • 0–2 years of experience in a front office, administrative, or customer service role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

  • Familiarity with basic office equipment (printers, scanners, telephony systems).
  • Experience handling basic administrative responsibilities.
  • Exposure to working in a corporate or client-facing environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
