The Collection Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the collections team within a telecom call centre. Ensures that the team meets collection targets, complies with regulatory guidelines, and provides high-quality customer interactions. monitors performance, coaches team members, and escalates complex cases as needed to improve recovery rates and customer satisfaction. Should be proficent in MS office especially in maintaing reports using Excel. Good Team handling skills. Proficent in spoken and written communication.

Make outbound collection calls to delinquent or defaulted customers. Follow up on outstanding payments for telecom bills, credit cards, personal loans, or EMIs. Explain billing details, due dates, and payment options clearly. Persuade customers to make payments through appropriate channels. Record all communication and update CRM systems accurately. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets. Escalate complex cases to supervisors as required. Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
