As a French Language Teacher for TGT Grades, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and stimulating French language lessons following the CBSE curriculum. Your main responsibilities will include: - Plan, deliver, and assess engaging French language lessons that align with the specific framework. - Incorporate both language acquisition and language literature components into the curriculum. - Create differentiated learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students. - Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction. - Provide regular feedback and reports on student achievement, following CBSE assessment criteria. - Work closely with other subject teachers, the coordinator, and the modern languages department to ensure interdisciplinary learning. - Participate in regular department meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and development. - Foster a love for language learning and cultural appreciation among students. - Provide additional support for students who need extra help, both within and outside the classroom. - Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and language education. - Support language-related extracurricular activities such as language clubs, cultural events, or exchange programs. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors or Masters degree in French Language, Linguistics, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years teaching French in a middle setting. Prior experience is a strong advantage. - Fluency in French (native or near-native level) and strong command of English. - Excellent classroom management and communication skills. - Proficiency in integrating technology into language teaching. - Passion for working with middle and high school students in an international, diverse setting.
