French Teacher

As a French Teacher, your role involves assessing the capabilities of students and developing appropriate lesson plans and curricula. You will be responsible for pronouncing words and phrases, explaining their meanings, and conducting research to create learning materials and teaching aids. Utilizing a blend of in-class activities and online resources, you will aim to provide a comprehensive learning environment. Your duties will also include teaching various tiers of French, developing assessments, and scheduling feedback sessions with students. Key Responsibilities: - Assess the capabilities of students and develop appropriate lesson plans and curricula. - Pronounce words and phrases, explain their meanings, and develop learning materials. - Utilize in-class activities and online resources for a blended learning environment. - Teach various tiers of French to students. - Develop and grade written and oral assessments. - Schedule feedback sessions, provide extra support, and recommend further learning opportunities. - Organize conversational classes and cultural events related to French. - Update records and handle administrative duties. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in French language or literature. - Degree in education or a teaching certificate may be required. - Proven proficiency in oral and written French. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Patience, resilience, and innovative thinking. - Good administration skills.
