French Language Trainer

You will be responsible for conducting French language classes for academy-enrolled students either in small groups or one-on-one formats. Your role will involve designing and delivering customized lesson plans that align with the academy's curriculum and learner objectives, which may be academic, professional, or certification-based. You will also prepare students for international language proficiency exams such as DELF/DALF, TCF, and TEF. Utilizing a variety of teaching tools like digital platforms, role-plays, games, audio visuals, and cultural content will be essential. Monitoring learner progress, maintaining attendance and performance records, and providing regular feedback are also part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with the academic coordinator to schedule sessions, assessments, and student reviews is crucial, along with participating in trainer meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance your skills. Creating an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that facilitates language acquisition is a key aspect of this role. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or masters degree in French/French Literature/Foreign Languages or a related field. - DELF/DALF certification (minimum B2 level; C1 preferred). - Minimum 12 years of teaching or training experience, preferably in a language institute. - Familiarity with CEFR-aligned teaching and assessment methods. - Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with online teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or academy-specific LMS platforms. - Knowledge of instructional design or curriculum planning. - Comfort with using apps, videos, and gamified tools for language learning. - Ability to handle mixed-ability groups and adjust content accordingly. - Cultural immersion techniques and familiarity with Francophone countries.
