The Video Editor (Freelance) position at Pinky Promise offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the most loved women's health app in the country. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in bringing the story of Pinky Promise and the journeys of the women they serve to life through engaging video content. This freelance position allows you to work remotely, but requires the ability to deliver videos within tight deadlines. Your primary responsibilities will include editing shortform and longform video content such as social media reels, ads, and YouTube videos. You will collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure a consistent brand voice across all video content. Delivering polished videos with colour correction, sound levelling, and consistent pacing is essential, along with managing file organization and meeting delivery deadlines consistently. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of hands-on video editing experience, preferably for digital-first platforms. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci, along with a working knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator, is required. A strong portfolio showcasing video editing for digital platforms and a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, clarity, and visual flow are key attributes. Independence, excellent communication skills, and discipline in remote work environments are also important qualities we are looking for.
