Freelance Quality Consultant (Bakery/Food Industry)

We’re looking for a freelance quality consultant with experience in bakery, snacks, or packaged food production to help us set up and streamline quality control systems at our unit. As a growing clean-label food brand, quality is critical — and we need expert support to build systems that scale with our growth.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Visit the production facility once a week (or as needed)
• Audit current processes and identify quality risks
• Develop practical QC checklists for each product (biscuits, muesli, puffs, etc.)
• Train factory team on basic QC procedures and hygiene standards
• Help troubleshoot recurring issues (burnt product, packing defects, etc.)
• Provide guidance on process control, root cause identification, and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with basic food safety practices (FSSAI hygiene checklist, etc.) Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in food quality (preferably snacks, bakery, cereals)
• Hands-on knowledge of production QC and packaging line control
• Strong understanding of FSSAI standards and shelf-life risks
• Ability to train workers and create simple, usable SOPs
• Based in or able to travel weekly to Delhi NCR

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
