Freelance Product Designer

As a Freelance Product Designer at SilverNurture, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the team to create innovative and functional designs that align with the brand's vision. Your role will involve conceptualizing design solutions, creating prototypes, user testing, and refining designs based on feedback. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs meet project goals and brand identity, contributing meaningfully to the mission of providing support for new mothers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Study brand ethos, target audience, and positioning to understand the brand and market. - Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products to gather research and insights. - Create initial sketches, mood boards, and ideation concepts for concept development. - Develop 3D models, assist in creating prototype samples, and refine design details based on validation and feedback. - Prepare detailed CAD and technical drawings for production, ensuring design feasibility and consistency. - Suggest packaging ideas aligned with the design language for branding and packaging direction. - Provide design-related assistance during the product launch phase, collaborating with brand, artisans, and production teams. **Qualifications:** - Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar programs. - Strong skills in prototyping, wireframing, and usability testing to create user-centric designs. - Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and product design methodologies. - Basic knowledge of sustainable and material-inclusive design processes. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Experience in healthcare or postpartum product design is a plus. - Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field is preferred. - Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a hybrid work environment.,
