You Role:

  • University graduate/postgraduate
  • Exceptionally fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Minimum

    7-9 years

    related to banking, AML, and Financial Sector with a minimum of

    5-7 years’

    specific experience leading and managing teams that engage in Fraud & Scam prevention, Fraud investigation / detection etc.
  • Hands-on experience of working on Fraud alerts.
  • Understanding of Australian banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Actively engage in the identification of potential process shortcomings or required enhancements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, agile environment, including autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in mentoring, training, coaching and/or leading small to medium size teams.
  • Strong operational background including new process launch & service delivery
  • Strong research, problem solving and analytical skills.

Your Profile:

  • Oversight of the daily workflow and management of the Fraud and Scam operations team.
  • Handling a team of 10 to 15 members.
  • Monitoring various alert queues to ensure appropriate prioritization and task allocation across the team, based on the defined turnaround times for each queue.
  • Ensure standard processes, role, and responsibilities of the Fraud & Scam operations team while meeting / exceeding SLAs/KPIs across quality, losses, and productivity.
  • Assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and candidate selection.
  • Drive initiatives to find evolving fraud patterns and develop countermeasures.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify and address team’s performance issues promptly.
  • Analyze and review quality & productivity trends and reports feedback to internal & client leadership.
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget, with exceptional quality under tight deadlines & minimal supervision.
  • Regular client connects regarding intra-day queue performance, fraud trends and SLAs etc.
