Foundry Quality Head

• Should have Knowledge of Modern Foundry Process like Melting, Pouring, H/T, Fettling, Machining,

Rework, Painting, Packing and Dispatch.

• Quality management for Melting, closing, Pouring, Moulding simultaneously.

• Developing Quality Policies and Objectives:

  Establish clear quality policies and set measurable

quality objectives that align with the organizationss goals

• Implementing Quality Management Systems:

  Ensure that the QMS is effectively implemented

Across all departments and processes.

• Conducting Training and Awareness Programs

  : Educate employees about quality standards,

Procedures, and Safety, their roles in maintaining quality.

• Performing Audits and Inspections:

  Regularly conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure

Compliance with QMS.

• Managing Non-Conformance's:

  Identify, document, and take corrective actions for any

Non-conforming products or processes.

• Facilitating Continuous Improvement:

  Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying

areas for improvement and implementing changes

• Ensuring Regulatory Compliance

  : Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure the

organizations compliance

• Reporting on Quality Performance:

  Provide regular reports on the performance of the QMS to top

management and other stakeholders

• Customer Satisfaction:

  Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and incorporating

Document Development:

• Record Keeping:

Maintaining records of activities, such as training, calibration, audits, and management reviews, to demonstrate

Specific Documents Required:

• Procedures:

  Detailed instructions for specific activities, such as document control, record keeping, internal

Audits, and corrective actions.

• Work Instructions:

  Step-by-step guides for performing tasks, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Forms:

  Templates for collecting and recording data, such as inspection reports, non-conformance reports,

• Records:

  Evidence of activities performed, such as training records, calibration records, and audit results.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of Manganese Steel Casting is a plus point.
• Good command on computer like Excel, Ms Word, and mail drafting etc.
• Managerial skills
• The ability to lead and motivate a team.
• B.TECH. in Mechanical.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawing.
