Formwork

As a Formwork Supervisor at the Bengaluru site of Buildings & Factories, your role involves the following responsibilities: - Deploy workmen gangs as per requirement and instructions of site formwork in-charge at specified locations. - Carry daily toolbox meetings and safety related briefings before the start of any formwork activities. - Understand the formwork scheme drawings and ensure that it is implemented strictly as per the schemes. - Monitor and coordinate site works with various workmen gangs and their supervisors for timely completion of works. - Ensure that the BOQs for each area prepared by the site formwork in-charge are met and sufficient material is present at required locations. - Coordinate with the carpentry workshop for the preparation of formwork shuttering arrangements required at various locations. - Act as per the construction methodology laid down by the site team and report any difficulties faced in the implementation. - Maintain quality and safety at all levels while meeting progress requirements. - Implement new ideas proposed by HQ & cluster to improve quality, productivity, or reduce costs. - Ensure proper housekeeping in all areas including yards and inform sub-contractors if actions are needed. - Properly store and stack materials at working levels and yards for reconciliation when required. - Train workmen gangs continuously to meet productivity requirements for various structural elements. - Prepare daily progress reports on activities in different areas of the site for necessary monitoring and update the site formwork in-charge.
