As a Workmen Gang Deployment Supervisor, your role involves coordinating the deployment of workmen gangs as per the requirements and instructions provided by the site formwork in-charge. It is crucial to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and work procedures on-site, conducting daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings before commencing any formwork activities. Your responsibilities include: - Monitoring and coordinating site works with various workmen gangs and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Understanding and implementing formwork scheme drawings accurately. - Coordinating with the carpentry workshop for the preparation of formwork shuttering arrangements. - Ensuring compliance with the construction methodology specified by the site team. - Maintaining quality, safety, and progress requirements at all times. - Implementing new ideas proposed by HQ & cluster for improvement in quality, productivity, and cost reduction. - Overseeing housekeeping in all areas, including yards, and ensuring proper storage and stacking of materials. - Understanding productivity requirements for formwork and ensuring gang sizes meet productivity needs. - Tracking daily activities and progress on-site, preparing daily progress reports for the site formwork in-charge. Qualifications required for this role include: - Prior experience in supervising workmen gangs in a construction environment. - Familiarity with formwork schemes and construction methodologies. - Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with different teams. - Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction. - Ability to analyze productivity requirements and optimize gang sizes accordingly.
