Foreman (Construction)

As a Foreman, your role involves supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities at the site to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant work according to design specifications and project timelines. Your key responsibilities include: - Supervising and coordinating construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers. - Ensuring that all site activities adhere to approved drawings and project specifications. - Allocating daily tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining discipline, attendance, and productivity. - Inspecting work progress, materials, and workmanship to ensure safety and quality standards. - Coordinating with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and stakeholders for smooth operations. - Enforcing safety protocols and site regulations. - Preparing and maintaining daily reports, labor deployment reports, and material logs. - Identifying and resolving site issues or escalating them to the project management team. - Assisting in planning manpower and material requirements. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Btech. Or Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience in construction supervision. - Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a Foreman in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Thorough understanding of construction drawings, methods, and safety procedures. - Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Additional Requirements: - Willingness to work at project sites as per company requirements. - Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials. - Understanding of local labor laws and site safety practices.
