Job Title: Footwear Designer Executive

Department: Design & Development
Location: Pitampura, Delhi
Reports To: Head of Design / Product Development Manager

Job Summary:

The Footwear Designer Executive will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative footwear collections aligned with market trends, brand identity, and customer preferences. This role involves close collaboration with the product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure that designs are both aesthetically appealing and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research global fashion and footwear trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
• Develop footwear design concepts, sketches, mood boards, and CADs for new collections.
• Select appropriate materials, colors, and finishes while considering cost, durability, and comfort.
• Collaborate with product development teams for prototyping and sampling.
• Review samples, provide feedback, and ensure designs meet quality, fit, and style standards.
• Maintain a strong understanding of production processes, raw materials, and new technologies.
• Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to align designs with brand strategy.
• Ensure timely completion of seasonal design calendars and collection launches.
• Present design ideas and concepts to management for approvals.
• Maintain updated design files, technical sheets, and specification documents.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in footwear design (casual, sports, formal, or specialized categories).
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CAD tools, etc.).
• Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail and trends.
• Knowledge of materials, lasts, soles, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
