Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Control: Plan and manage the entire production lifecycle from sampling to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality standards. Vendor & Factory Management: Identify, onboard, and manage garment factories, fabric suppliers, and trimming vendors. Conduct regular factory visits and monitor performance. Sampling & Development: Coordinate with design and merchandising teams to translate tech packs into physical samples. Ensure prototype accuracy and manufacturability. Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality control processes across all stages—fabrics, in-line, and final production. Ensure compliance with safety norms for children’s wear (like azo-free dyes, no sharp edges, etc.). Inventory & Material Planning: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials (fabric, trims, accessories) while optimizing costs and reducing waste. Budget & Costing: Analyze cost structures and negotiate with vendors to ensure production within budget without compromising on quality.
