Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Workshop Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day activities on the workshop floor.
  • Allocate repair orders to technicians based on skill level and workload.
  • Ensure that vehicles are serviced/repaired as per job card instructions.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards in the workshop.

2. Quality Control

  • Conduct final inspection and ensure all jobs are done as per manufacturer’s standards.
  • Verify that all complaints are addressed before vehicle delivery.
  • Reduce rework and maintain high-quality service output.

3. Team Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise technicians, helpers, and service staff on the floor.
  • Conduct daily briefing and assign duties.
  • Ensure technicians follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Motivate and train the team for skill enhancement and productivity improvement.

4. Workflow & Job Card Management

  • Ensure job cards are properly filled and updated.
  • Track vehicle movement from check-in to delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Service Advisor for job status updates.
  • Ensure spare parts are available for ongoing jobs by coordinating with the Parts Department.

5. Customer Satisfaction Support

  • Work closely with service advisors to meet promised delivery times.
  • Address technical issues that may cause delays.
  • Support quick resolution of customer complaints related to workshop activities.

6. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all workshop staff follow safety rules and use protective equipment.
  • Monitor adherence to environmental and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines.
  • Report any accidents or incidents on the floor immediately.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily reports on job status, pending jobs, and productivity.
  • Record technician efficiency and output.
  • Assist the Service Manager in performance analysis and improvement plans.

  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and diagnostic tools.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple jobs.
  • Time management and problem-solving ability.
  • Customer-oriented and quality-focused mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
