Fleet Operations analyst

Role Overview: As a Fleet Operations Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Fleet Operations team and other stakeholders to comprehend business objectives and identify data-driven opportunities for providing value-adding data solutions. Your role will focus on accelerating growth while enhancing operational excellence within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Support Fleet group and Operational support lead with Operational Excellence initiatives. - Assist Fleet group with analysis on performance management. - Maintain organized data and conduct monthly performance analysis, identify gaps, and present vessel-level data for monthly performance review with vessels and Fleet group. - Aid the fleet group in cost reduction initiatives and maintain a record of the same. - Assist the FSI in monitoring costs and performance on a vessel level, and analyze variances. - Track completion of TOP2 appraisals and evaluate the quality of appraisals. - Support the FG with inventory management. - Develop a backlog of cost-saving initiatives and tradeoffs, including risk regulation that can be implemented on specific vessels and across the fleet. - Contribute to the development of a model for cost-benefit analyses for operational excellence. Qualifications Required: - Engineering background from marine/naval architecture or related fields. - Bachelor's degree. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in the use of analytics tools like Power BI and MS-Excel. - Exceptional attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. - Good to have working knowledge of programming languages like Python or R.
