Fixture Designer

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in the Machine Tool industry, your main task will involve design and manufacturing of fixtures required for machining parts. You will be responsible for CNC program management, releasing stage-wise drawings, releasing processes for machining, cost estimation of all machining parts, and selection of new machines and equipment. Additionally, you will be involved in industrial engineering tasks such as capacity planning, planning loads of parts in the machine shop, fixturing, tooling CAD/CAM processes, cutting tool selection monitoring, tool life management, and working to improve OEE while managing flexible manufacturing cell. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and manufacturing fixtures required for machining parts - Managing CNC programs and ensuring error-free programs - Releasing stage-wise drawings and processes for machining - Cost estimation of all machining parts - Involvement in selection of new machines and equipment - Industrial engineering tasks including capacity planning, planning loads of parts, fixturing, tooling CAD/CAM processes, cutting tool selection monitoring, tool life management, and working to improve OEE Qualifications Required: - BE in Mechanical Engineering - Expertise in machining processes - Proficiency in CNC programming on CAD/CAM - Knowledge in fixture concepts and design - Experience working in a modern machine shop with HMCs and VMCs Additional Details: The preferred location for this role is Peenya/Dabaspete, Bangalore.
