Fixed Asset - Sr Associates

The Business Process Lead position for Fixed Asset is based in Nagpur and requires a professional with at least 4 years of experience in general bookkeeping, fixed assets management, and reporting. The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision to achieve set objectives. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with tact and diplomacy. Proficiency in MS Excel is a must, while knowledge of MS Access is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with JD Edwards software are mandatory. The ability to adhere to deadlines, provide exceptional customer service, collaborate with team members, and maintain confidentiality are vital aspects of the role. The candidate should be prepared to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Key responsibilities of the role include overseeing depreciation runs, updating schedules of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation, recording accounting entries for asset impairment, conducting periodic reviews for intangible assets, analyzing fixed assets upon client request, managing asset retirement and obligations, preparing asset sale invoices, assisting auditors with queries, creating depreciation keys in the ERP system, revaluing foreign currency assets/liabilities, reviewing and processing complex journal entries, handling tax reporting and transfer pricing, establishing and recommending accounting policies and procedures, and preparing schedules for book closure for balance sheet accounts. The candidate should also be familiar with month-end activities.
