Fitter (Fabrication)

Job Description: You will be joining our Fabrication Department as a Fitter with a focus on working with carbon steel (CS), stainless steel (SS), aluminum, and sheet metal. Your role will involve interpreting engineering drawings, performing fitting and assembly of metal components, operating fabrication tools, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment, collaborating with welders and fabricators, maintaining safety standards, conducting quality checks, and participating in routine maintenance of tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for fabrication and fitting tasks. - Perform fitting and assembly of various metal components including CS, SS, aluminum, and sheet metal. - Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as grinders, drill machines, cutting tools, welding fixtures, etc. - Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, and fitting of components as per specifications. - Work closely with welders and fabricators to complete assemblies. - Follow safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Conduct quality checks and ensure parts meet specified tolerances. - Participate in routine maintenance of tools and equipment. Required Skills & Qualifications: - ITI / Diploma in Fitter / Mechanical or related discipline. - 3 to 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, fitting, or a similar role.
