Fitter (Fabrication)

You are a skilled and experienced Fitter who will be joining our Fabrication Department. Your role will involve working with various metals such as carbon steel (CS), stainless steel (SS), aluminum, and sheet metal. A precise approach, technical expertise, and a strong grasp of fabrication processes are essential for this position. Your responsibilities will include interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, fitting and assembling metal components, operating fabrication tools and equipment, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment, collaborating with welders and fabricators, adhering to safety standards, maintaining a clean work environment, conducting quality checks, and participating in tool and equipment maintenance. To qualify for this role, you should possess an ITI/Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical or a related discipline along with 3 to 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, fitting, or a similar field. Prior experience in a fabrication workshop or manufacturing setting, as well as an understanding of quality control processes, would be advantageous.
