Fitter (Drawing Fitter)

Job Overview:

Hyaline Engineers is looking for an experienced ITI Fitter to support our wastewater treatment, gas pipeline projects, heavy fabrication, and solar energy installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical fitting, pipeline assembly, structural fabrication, and maintenance of industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical equipment in wastewater plants, gas piping systems, and fabrication units.
• Fit, align, and weld structural components for heavy engineering and solar mounting structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and schematics for pipelines and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on industrial machines, valves, and piping systems.
• Work with SS, MS, and GI pipes for industrial fluid and gas handling systems.
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of machine components using measuring instruments.
• Operate grinders, drills, welding machines, gas cutters, and hydraulic tools.
• Comply with industrial safety standards and PPE guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers, welders, and technicians to complete projects on time.
• Troubleshoot pump, motor, gearbox, and pipeline leakages.

Requirements:

• ITI Fitter certification from a recognized institute.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in mechanical fitting, pipeline assembly, or fabrication.
• Experience in wastewater treatment plants, gas piping, or heavy fabrication is preferred.
• Basic understanding of arc welding, gas cutting, and pipe bending.
• Ability to work at site locations and travel for project execution when required.
• Strong awareness of industrial safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in industrial projects, fabrication yards, or plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of solar panel mounting and structural fitting is a plus.
