What we need:

Reporting to Fitout Manager the role will require the candidate to be specialising in civil fitout, you will be responsible for overseeing the interior construction and finishing works of high-performance data centers. Role ensures that all civil and architectural elements are executed to precision, aligned with design specifications, timelines, and quality standards required for mission-critical environments. This role will be based at Thane, Site Office.

Key responsibilities:

Project Execution

• Supervise civil fit-out activities including partitions, flooring, ceilings, and finishes.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of services within civil works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of execution.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve site issues.
• Participate in design reviews and provide execution feedback to improve constructability.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and material consumption records.
• Assist in preparing work schedules, BOQs, and procurement plans.
• Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization.

The successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in interior fit-out and civil execution, preferably in data center or high-tech infrastructure projects.
• Preferably we should have work experience in Data center construction
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction detailing, and finishing materials.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD.
• Candidates should have a good understanding of civil construction including RCC and interior design.
• Basic understanding of working, testing requirement and check lists of excavation, backfilling, PCC, RCC, slab casting, post pour and interior.
• Good interpersonal & communication and coordination skills.
