Position: Lead -Firmware Engineer
Location: Noida
Budget: 21LPA
NP- Immediate to 30 Days
Minimum Academic Qualification: BE/BTech In Electronics Engineering
Years of Experience: 8+Years
Role and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust, modular, and reusable firmware for embedded systems (MCUs, MPUs, SoCs).
• Develop firmware architecture to meet functional, performance, and safety requirements.
Integrate hardware abstraction layers, drivers, and middleware.
• Collaborate with hardware design teams to define interfaces, component selection, and system architecture.
• Perform bring-up and debugging of new hardware platforms.
• Conduct low-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Ensure firmware meets applicable regulatory standards (e.g., AIS 140 for telematics).
• Follow coding guidelines such as MISRA-C or CERT-C for safety-critical systems.
• Implement and debug communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, IC, USB, BLE, Ethernet, etc.).
• Work on networking stacks (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP) or automotive protocols (UDS, J1939).
Essential Skills: Good Knowledge of Embedded C, Free RTOS, Understanding of Schematic/Pin configurations, Working knowledge of Microcontrollers, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN Bootloader, Firmware Architecture and Flowchart
• Languages: C, C++, Embedded C, Python (for test scripts)
• Version Control & CI: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins
• Protocols: CAN, LIN, Modbus, BLE, TCP/IP, MQTT
• Debugging Tools: Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers
