Firmware Developer

The ideal candidate for this position should possess 6-9 years of experience in IoT embedded systems. You should have a strong background in integrating Wireless connectivity into products using a Network stack. Your knowledge should extend to Wireless technologies such as WIFI, Thread, Bluetooth/BLE, and IoT Cellular. Additionally, you should be familiar with IoT communication protocols like MQTT, HTTP, and COAP. Experience with Microcontroller Architecture Families like ARM Cortex, Microchip, Xtensa ESP32, and TI CC32XX will be advantageous. It is essential to have knowledge of RTOS such as FreeRTOS, uC OS, EmbOSs, VxWorks, and QNX. Your expertise should also cover Microcontroller peripherals and drivers like ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS485, DMA, Ethernet, SD/eMMC, and SDIO. A deep understanding of networking concepts including OSI layers, embedded TCP/IP stacks, and common IP protocols is required. Familiarity with Build toolchains and frameworks like IAR, GCC, Keil, and Mplab will be beneficial. You should be well-versed in coding standards, guidelines, compliance tools, version control with git, and software quality assurance practices. Your responsibilities will include working on the Embedded software design cycle, documenting Software Design, and conducting software and hardware integration testing. Experience in programming with Embedded C and C++, as well as familiarity with AWS/Google cloud for device connectivity and exposure to IoT cloud services like AWS IoT, are essential for this role. You should have a degree in M.Tech/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering and a proven track record of working on IoT-based embedded device projects. As a valuable member of the team, you are expected to have excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for Design & Technology. A can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a background in Design Thinking are also desired qualities for this position.
