Job Description

Role Overview: As a Network Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the security and networking devices, ensuring upgrades when necessary. You will play a crucial role in providing support for other engineers on PA equipment/software and cross-training in-house to share knowledge and workload efficiently. Additionally, you will be suggesting and detailing design changes as needed, documenting installations, and providing continuous service advice. It will be essential for you to proactively review and maintain infrastructure, as well as perform effective troubleshooting and respond to incidents during the workday. Key Responsibilities: - Providing support for other engineers on PA equipment/software - Cross training in-house to share knowledge and workload efficiently - Suggesting and detailing design changes as needed - Documenting installations and providing continuous service advice - Proactively reviewing and maintaining infrastructure - Performing effective troubleshooting and responding to incidents during the workday Qualification Required: Desirable Skills: - Knowledge of protocols such as BGP, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, and Static routing - Familiarity with networking topologies and protocols like MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping/QoS - Proficiency in Palo Alto Command line - Expertise in Palo Alto design, configuration, migrations, tuning, and customization of features - Thorough understanding of Panorama, Global Protect, and other Palo Alto features including SSL decryption - Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers,
