Firelight Lead

As the Manager in the B2B area of US Insurance, specifically Annuities, your role will involve managing a team with 8+ years of experience. Your primary focus will be on onboarding new partners, maintaining platforms, configuring systems, and enhancing ongoing processes. You will serve as a technical liaison between MassMutual business partners, industry vendors, and distribution partners, playing a crucial role in resolving issues and supporting new sales integration. Your expertise will be vital in representing MassMutual at industry meetings and driving initiatives forward. - Manage a team with 8+ years of experience in US Insurance, particularly Annuities - Onboard new partners, maintain platforms, configure systems, and enhance ongoing processes - Serve as a technical liaison between MassMutual business partners, industry vendors, and distribution partners - Resolve issues and support new sales integration - Represent MassMutual at industry meetings and drive initiatives forward - Consult on escalated support issues and root cause analysis - Participate in industry working groups and attend sales meetings to discuss service capabilities - Work independently on complex projects, closely with business and technical stakeholders - Identify and implement ways to improve business operations - Document technical solutions, analyze business rules, and assist team members with understanding requirements - Operate independently on multiple project tasks Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of US Insurance background, specifically Annuities - 8+ years of experience managing a team in the B2B area - Extensive knowledge in product profile, distributor profile, forms xml, order entry platforms, VTXML/XMLspy - Familiarity with DTCC record layouts, field definitions, and file types - Experience working with outside carriers, distributors, and firms - Ability to flex between subject matter expertise and project assignments - Quick learner with the ability to adapt to MassMutual practices - Industry expertise for carrier/distributors supporting business and technology - Established working relationship with current Order Entry Vendors,
