Fire & Safety Officer

1. Develop, implement and maintain the hospital’s fire and safety plans.

2. Conduct regular fire and other safety drills and ensure staff are trained in fire emergency pocedures.

3. Inspect and maintain fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers and other fire safety equipments.

4. Evaluate and monitor fire hazards and implement corrective actions as needed.

5. Perform routine safety inspections of hospital facilities to identify potential hazards.

6. Ensure all safety measures comply with local state, and federal regulations.

7. Document findings and coordinate with relevant department to address safety issues.

8. Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.

9. Coordinate and lead safety drills and emergency simulations.

10. Ensure that emergency exist are clearly marked and accessible at all times.

11. Provide regular training to hospital staff on fire, safety emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment.

12. Educate staff on the importance of fire prevention and safety in the work place.

13. Update and distribute safety protocols and guidelines as needed.

14. Provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

15. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, fire drills, and staff trainings as per quality policy.

16. Prepare reports and updates for hospitals management on safety performance and issues.

17. Stay informed on the latest fire safety and health regulations.

18. Ensure that the safety protocols are followed by gig or contract workers who come on special tasks at hospital premises. Educate them before the commencement of such works

19. Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
