About the Role

Fire Alarm Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission

  addressable fire alarm systems

  (Hochiki, Morley, Honeywell, Ravel, System Sensor, Agni, etc.).
• Install detectors, MCPs, hooters, sounders, modules, panels, sirens, strobes, and related field devices.
• Lay cables, fix trunking/conduits, and ensure proper termination as per standards.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, loop testing, and panel programming.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair work, and AMC site visits.
• Prepare installation reports, daily work logs, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with site in-charge, project manager, and client teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality at every site.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–7 years

  of hands-on experience in addressable fire alarm installation.
• Strong understanding of detection systems, loop wiring, modules, and panel logic.
• Ability to read and interpret

  fire alarm layouts, BOQ, and wiring diagrams

  .
• Experience with cabling, termination, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of NFPA/IS fire safety standards (preferred).
• Experience in handling tools like multimeter, continuity tester, drill machine, etc.
• Must be comfortable with field work and travel across project sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Fire & Safety, Instrumentation, or similar.
• Certification in fire alarm systems will be an added advantage.

Salary Range

20,000 – 35,000 per month (based on experience and technical capability).
