Finnish freelance QA testers and/or editors

We are seeking Finnish freelance QA testers and/or editors who are native speakers of the target language. This is a remote position. Requirements: - Native speaker of Finnish - Proven experience in editing and/or QA testing in various areas such as IT content, marketing materials, e-learning courses, technical articles, software content, subtitled/VO videos, videos with onscreen text, and closed captioned content - Ability to use CAT tools, especially SDL TMS - University degree in translation would be a plus As an Editor, your tasks include: - Following advanced instructions with client-specific requirements - Reviewing, proofreading, and correcting translations in SDL TMS or directly in context - Verifying completeness and consistency of localized text - Using Xbench to run automated QA - Having an Xbench License As a QA tester (linguistic QA), your responsibilities are: - Finding incorrect, inappropriate, or inconsistent translations in the target files - Ensuring consistent and correct layout - Reflecting the emphasis of the source file in the target files - Localizing language codes if present - Reporting incorrect, inconsistent, and inappropriate translations - Checking for typos, mistranslations, and grammatical errors - Ensuring all trademarks, copyrights, etc., are correctly placed - Maintaining a consistent tone of voice - Following advanced instructions and test plans with client-specific requirements - Verifying alignment, display, and readability of localized assets - Accessing various files and using defect tracking software to flag defects Additional Requirements: - Proven linguistic QA & editing skills and experience,
