Finishing Supervisor

· Supervise daily finishing operations (Finishing, singing, etc.) for denim fabrics.

· Plan and execute production schedules in coordination with the finishing manager.

· Monitor machine settings and process parameters to achieve desired hand feel, shrinkage, and finishing quality.

· Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

· Coordinate with maintenance and utility teams for machine upkeep and smooth operations.

· Operate and supervise finishing machines like stenter, sanforizer, brushing, singeing, and coating units.

· Ensure correct chemical and finishing recipe preparation as per production orders.

· Optimize temperature, pressure, moisture, and speed for consistent finishing results.

· Monitor chemical and auxiliary consumption to minimize wastage.

· Allocate work to operators, helpers, and shift workers efficiently.

· Conduct on-the-job training for operators regarding machine operation, fabric handling, and safety procedures.

· Maintain daily production logs, process sheets, and shift reports.

· Record machine downtime, fabric rejections, and wastage.

· Report production and quality issues to the Finishing Manager.

· Coordinate with the planning and dispatch teams for fabric delivery schedules.

· Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology or related field.

· Experience: 4–8 years in fabric finishing operations, preferably in denim processing.

· Technical Knowledge:

· In-depth understanding of denim finishing processes, machinery, and finishing chemicals.

· Familiarity with sanforizing, stentering, and chemical finishing systems.

· Knowledge of fabric quality parameters (GSM, shrinkage, skew, handle, etc.).

· Skills:

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

· Ability to work in shifts and handle production pressure.

· Basic computer literacy (Excel, ERP entry, reporting).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,646.17 - ₹30,000.00 per month
