Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced Excel operations including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Index Match, Pivot Tables, and data grouping.
• Maintain file integrity by identifying and resolving variances, troubleshooting issues, and repairing broken links.
• Apply US GAAP guidance on debt modification vs. extinguishment, revolving credit lines, and deferred financing costs.
• Prepare debt origination, modification, and extinguishment journal entries from loan documents.
• Analyze and document accounting treatment implications from financial agreements.
• Execute financial reporting tasks including consolidation, balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement preparation.
• Draft debt and hedging footnotes, ensuring internal consistency across statements.
• Understand and apply hedge accounting basics and interest rate swaps.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and desktop procedures for audit purposes.
• Communicate proactively on task status, escalate challenges, and manage deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in US GAAP, particularly in debt and hedge accounting.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in investment management or financial services.
• Familiarity with lender reporting requirements.
